Amber Sue Bowling

LCSW

Life can be messy, complicated, and sometimes downright exhausting. Maybe you're carrying around old hurts that won't let go, feeling anxious all the time, struggling in your relationships, or wondering how you lost sight of who you are. Whatever brought you here, I'm glad you're here.

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can finally exhale. A place where you don't have to pretend you're okay, have all the answers, or worry about being judged. Together, we'll make sense of your experiences, celebrate your strengths, and gently work through the things that have been weighing you down.

No two people are the same, so therapy shouldn't be either. I tailor every session to your unique story, drawing from approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and other evidence-based practices. Whether we're untangling old patterns, learning new coping skills, or reconnecting with the version of yourself that's been buried under stress or pain, we'll do it together, one step at a time.

For over seven years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside children, teens, and adults as they navigate some of life's toughest moments. I have experience supporting clients healing from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, body image concerns, ADHD, severe mental illness, and the lasting effects of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. My favorite part of this work is watching clients begin to believe in themselves again and discover that healing is possible.

When I'm not in the therapy office, you'll probably find me planning my next adventure, camping under the stars, getting lost in a good book, or spending time with the people I love. I believe healing isn't just about surviving, but creating a life that feels meaningful and connected.

Wherever you are on your journey, I'd be honored to meet you there.
